I've Been a Bad, Bad Blogger

I'm so sorry everyone (a.k.a "the four or five of you")! Things got a little crazy after my last post, with the Luly Yang Couture show, midterms, a trip to Colorado, a trip to Canada, finals, a wedding, portfolio work, and transferring schools. But, excuses aside, I've been rather terrible. I was actually gathering up some content for my posts during the hiatus, I promise. So I'll have a nice little report on Luly, the YSL exhibit in Denver, and a few other "goodies" (if you can call them that).

To make up for my long absence, I'll end this post with a somewhat disturbing picture of my roommate, Aubrey, and I. We went to a concert for The Drums, and went a little overboard with our outfits. I thought we looked rather nice, though people downtown during the daylight hours didn't quite agree.

Lasagne on a Monday

So, I realize that it's pretty late in the day, but I had to do it. I'm also aware that this is a Monday that doens't really need a pick-me-up, since the weather is AMAZING and all (at least in Seattle!). But this can only make your Monday better, right?

My victim of the day, Heather, walked in to French class today, and I thought she looked too cool to go through the rest of her day without having a picture of her outfit taken. I also loved how she did justice to those H&M shorts, because I had wanted them soooo badly when they were in stores. 

I think that Seattle-ites have finally emerged out of their "Is it winter? Is it spring?" coccoons of confusion (myself included), and we've all become beautiful little butterflies. When I heard it was going to be 70 degrees today, I grabbed my favorite dress and never looked back. By the time winter ends, I'm so done with my sweaters and tights (don't get me wrong though, Autumn and Winter are my absolute favorite seasons for clothing!). What is the first outfit you grab when the sun comes out again?

I think it should be known that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE stripes/anything nautical, so it was only a matter of time before I found someone with an outfit this great. I also think that seahorses are one of the cooles animals in existence, so I totally fell in love with Heather's necklace. Essentially, she did everything right in my book! And as the French would say, elle est trés chic! (It's cliche, I know. But it's the best saying for this situation...) 

Beats of the Moment

I love myself a good dance song, and trance is a genre I'll never get fed up with. It's perfect for.... Everything. Runway tunes, driving, studying, writing, sleeping, dancing, partying... You get my drift. 

Just last week, someone very near and dear to me released his second song on iTunes, and I couldn't be more excited. I listened to him work on sections of this song for hours, and I love how it's come together! Take a a look, and if you like it enough, support an up-and-coming artist and buy it off of Beatport or iTunes!
